Twin Peaks pt 2 and Anxiety Meets Circus Arts
Friday Jun 09, 2023
Friday Jun 09, 2023
First, we start with tattoo artist Lee Dandy and the Sancheck system on the second half of our conversation about Twin Peaks. We had been discussing the role of generational trauma and abuse. Did Laura Palmer make the decision to end a cycle of abuse? That’s how Sancheck interprets this David Lynch masterpiece.
Then, we talk to Maggie Parrish about what it means to be a circus arts performer with anxiety.

Twin Peaks, Generational Trauma, and Abuse
Friday May 26, 2023

"This is about a kid, who was abused her whole life, deciding that she’s going to be the one to end it."
Sancheck and Lee Dandy enlighten me on their interpretation of Twin Peaks, and it is a good one.
Both have been on the show before. Lee is a queer tattoo artist at Electric Panther in Cabot, Arkansas. Sancheck is a dissociative identity system. This is really Sancheck's episode. Take a listen to their fascinating take on the show, generational trauma, and abuse.

LARP (part 2)
Monday Jan 30, 2023
Monday Jan 30, 2023
Get your costumes ready, we're talking LARP (Live Action Role Playing)...again!
My guests are tattoo artist Lee Dandy. Check them out at Electric Panther in Cabot, AR. And Tabby McGuire, a member of the Sancheck system, the Dissociative Identity Disorder system you’ve heard in so many episodes.
Lee and Sancheck run a lot of LARPs with their group The Gentleman’s Hammer, and I’m thrilled they’re willing to give some of their expertise here.
This episode is a continuation of the conversation we had in an episode several months back. That’s why this is part 2. I’ve split this episode into two segments to make it a little more bite-size, so be sure to check out part 3 as well.

This episode is about Christmas and many of the complex emotions surrounding this holiday.
My guests are Lee, Emma, and Leif followed by DeLondra and Star.

DeLondra and Star are a queer couple from North Little Rock. They are newlyweds, and I wish them all the happiness in the world. Star is part of a Dissociative Identity system, much like Emma in the Sancheck system. They’re 24 years old and aspire to be a child psychiatrist. DeLondra is 28 years old and aspires to be a mental health therapist to adults and kids alike.

Cluster B and the Holidays
Tuesday Dec 06, 2022
Tuesday Dec 06, 2022
During this time of year, the time with family-centered holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, it is common for people to label relatives who have hurt them as "narcissists." We’ll talk about the problems with that and the characteristics of narcissistic personality disorder and other cluster B disorders.
My guests today are Leif, Lee, and Emma. Leif is in the health industry, and Lee is a tattoo artist. Emma, the one with the lovely English accent, is an alter in the Sancheck system, and she has narcissistic personality disorder. She gives some insight into what that does and does not mean.
